Tata Theatre: This plush auditorium hosts plays, dance performances and music recitals all year round. This 1010-seat theatre is a part of the NCPA complex in Nariman Point, whose stage is an almost semi-circular thrust. Dr J J Bhabha built Indias first auditorium where every seat would clearly hear and see dance, music and theatre performances without any amplification. Luminaries like Yehudi Menuhin, Ustad Vilayat Khan, and M S Subbalaxmi have performed at the Tata Theatre. The space is also used for special functions of state and exhibitions.
