On date 7 July 09, subsequent to my discussion with Kiran Taneja from Crossroads I had taken a policy from 3 years Crossroads @ INR 999 with an offer that INR 500 would be reduced in the next premium for insurance of my CAR i.e MATIZ. The Policy Receipt No. is 6729 and the Membership Number is 9004-1597

I had very specifically asked Kiran and the visiting member for if this offer is valid with all insurance Co. specially "National Insurance Company" and their answer was Yes it is accepted.

Finally when the insurance due date of CAR approached I contacted "National Insurance Company" for availing this offer, They simply denied having any tie-ups with Crossroads. The card specifying that it was free was treated just as a waste paper. Since then I had made multiple calls and spoken to many people including SWATI (011-47090909) and Mr. Paul (9311001921). The first reply of Paul was that he would organize someone to pick up my cheque and honor the promise made by crossroads.

Sorry to say that Mr Paul, failed to fulfill his commitment and after waiting for 24 hours when I tried contacting him he simply did not pick his mobile. This is highly unprofessional attitude, as the story continued for next 3/4 days I made several calls to Swati -and others too hoping someone would revert - Nobody did and Paul did not pick his mobile.

As the insurance date was approaching I had to make the payment for same (which I did, without getting the benefit of INR 500). The response seems very bad, 1. The sales commitment was not fulfilled, 2. There is no tie up atleast between National Insurance Company" and crossroads
3. Irrespective of urgency and many calls made from my side I did not get a proper response also, and on top of it people stopped accepting my calls.

I feel cheated and requested the authorities to intervene for resolution. Finally on 14 Sept anu.srcc@gmail.com; on behalf of; Customer Care, Crossroads [care@crossroadshelpline.com] replied via mail that they would refund the INR 500 to me.

Since then it was a long chase up over mails and telephone calls to their support office but believe me it seems that they used to handle such query as all my calls and emails since then have landed to their deaf ears.

I have all the relevant document only thing now left is to proceed with Legal proceedings which I have already taken a opinion with different Web portals and collected all relevant documents to proceed only delay is finding time to go and file this case.

Dear people..

Don't be misdirected by the reviews. I would urge people to call up on our helpline service (011) 47090909 and find out themselves if the phone gets picked or not. We still remain the oldest and the biggest helpline service.

The nature of our work is such that due to traffic jam, heavy traffic etc. the service time can exceed the range promised.Even then if a customer doesn't get service on time, they fill up a customer satisfaction form where they can lodge their complaint and our executive calls them up the next day for grievance redressal or mail us on : care@crossroadshelpline.com and they get instant hearing out of their problem.

Mr. Jay, we receive around 600-700 complaints everyday and never have we got the complaint that the phone is not being picked. May I request to please give it one more chance?

Disgusting service, all they know is to haress a person for taking their service and its renewal and even a single caller like Tanya on number 011-47619623, talks like she is marketing head. In all please do not go for it

then i called up my friend and towed car to home.

Worse part:
Irresponsible staff (if they would have told me initially that they cant provide service as they have fixed staff for fixed area then it would have been easier for me to get other options at 9:30 pm

Rude behavior. (When i said i want to talk to manager they said,We don't have manager here...even manager cant do anything helpline wont come b4 45 mins...

I will highly recommend not to take crossroad service as these people are making fool of consumers...

If anybody from crossroad want to challenge these, i have call details of how many times i called crossroad and each time how many minutes

Most pathetic service i have ever came across, for sake of associating such service i used it for 3 years..
FIRST TIME called them on sunday 9. am last year, till 11 o clock they didnt pickd my phone then i arranged mechanic myself.
SECOND time my car was over heated as its fan wasn't working... i called them they said it will take 20 mins then after 30 mins no one came 1 again called them they said 10 mins more finally a guy came 1hr 15 mins late and he was on 2 wheeler, he didn't knew anything abt car except fuse box after playing 20 mins with car he said he is calling someone and they will come in 20 mins to check oohh that was the height i started my car as it became normal in heat.. and took it to a mechanic and that guy took 10 mins to diagnose and repair the fault...
""it show they believe in only towing and replacing Tyre of punctured car. they have no one whom we can call actual mechanic.""
THIRD TIME recently my car ceased coz of battery charging, i called them at 9:30 pm and they said 15-20 mins after 36 mins, i again called them they said 10 more mins, after 25 mins i called up they said "Sir i will tell u honestly that mech cant come b4 20 mins.. after 20 mins , i called, guy who picked said that mech will take not less than 45 mins ... this time i shouted for some senior to talk... he said no senior here but gave me a no. of manager named "Arvind" and confirmed me his no twice but when i calld it was a fake no. NoOne came till 11.50pm not even a call frm them
