The open-air rooftop bar-cum-restaurant at Coco's is the best place to enjoy jazz, blues and soft rock, live. Three local vocalists take turns to shake it up every evening till midnight, except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bamboo-themed interior, the waft of grilled meats, and the balmy evening blend in effortlessly, creating an ambience, perfect for romantic evenings.

Another place to relish your drinks with a dose of jazz is The Bar at Hotel Novotel (near Hi Tech City). The band here dishes out just about everything from jazz and rock to pop and many more. Taj Banjara’s bar, Under Deck , has a Columbian band playing Western fusion music every evening from 8 pm to 12 am, except on Mondays. Expect a quiet crowd here: regular corporate honchos and Taj Banjara's resident crowd. On the other hand, at Taj Deccan’s Atrium Bar a Filipino band plays soft western numbers every evening (excluding first and last Mondays of the month).

If Hindustani music is your cup of tea, then check out the much-acclaimed Hyderabadi singer Viqar Ahmed’s performances at Taj Krishna’s Peshawari cuisine speciality restaurant Firdaus , every evening except on Tuesdays.
